Circa 1870, this beautiful reverse painted jewelry chest. Made from black lacquered papier-mâché with mother of pearl and abalone inlay. Features multiple compartments including a small writing desk lined in a dusty rose velvet. As well as bone drawer pulls. Would make a most fabulous gift for any occasion.
